From start to finish, the service was fantastic — our server, Cody, was friendly, welcoming, and full of great recommendations that made the night even better. We started with the Calamari Fritta, which was perfectly crisp and flavorful, followed by the Seafood Fra Diavolo and Chef Maria’s Saltimbocca as entrees — both dishes were absolutely delicious and clearly crafted with care. Our cocktails, The Godfather and the Venetian Spritz, were also top-notch. The atmosphere was classic old-school Vegas in the best way — stylish and nostalgic without feeling over-the-top. We loved the live pianist playing timeless Sinatra-era tunes, which made the evening feel truly special. Highly recommend for a date night, a gathering with friends, or celebrating a special occasion. We can’t wait to come back! ”

It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re part of a classic Vegas story. Now let’s talk food—chef’s kiss. I ordered the seafood pasta (pictured), and it was phenomenal. The linguine was perfectly al dente and swam in a rich, flavorful tomato sauce that hugged every bite. The dish came packed with fresh clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, calamari—you name it. Each piece was tender and tasted like it had just come in from the ocean. The sauce had the perfect balance of garlic, herbs, and a hint of spice, topped with just the right sprinkle of parsley. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. If you’re looking for a spot in Vegas with real soul, authentic Italian cooking, and a warm, welcoming vibe—Bootlegger delivers. “ A wonderful local restaurant that has been around since 1949! Just south of the strip this delightful Italian restaurant is a perfect place to have a delicious, decently priced meal. The atmosphere is terrific and the entire staff is first rate. Our meals were delicious and we will make it a point to return on our next visit to Vegas. Can’t say enough about the service as well, from the moment we entered until we left, everyone was simply delightful to deal with! I would highly recommend anyone to give this place a try! (Make a reservation though, even on a Monday night it was very busy, we had one and was seated right away) ”

“ We celebrated our friends birthday at this Italian restaurant. There were 19 of us total in the party. They sat all of us at a table in the main dining area, not the copa room. They brought us our drinks in a timely fashion and then brought out fresh garlic bread squares and marinara dipping sauce. They came back (there were several servers and other assistants) and took our orders for lunch and appetizer orders. We tried the fried ravioli, bruschetta bread, penne pasta, chicken piccata, and orange roughy entrees. All tasted delicious. The waitresses/waiters checked on us throughout the meal, so we had plenty of help in getting extra water, fresh parmesan cheese, and our dishes removed as we finished the appetizers and entrees. It was a very enjoyable meal celebrating our friends birthday. Restrooms were well attended and plenty of parking. The lighting is more like an evening setting, so walking out from the restaurant afterwards, it's very bright in contrast to the interior lighting of the dining area. ”

“ Food was fantastic. Our server warned us that the sausage stuffed mushrooms were addictive and he was right. They come sitting in a plate of cream/butter sauce which was very tasty. I wish I would have remembered to take more photos. The house bread with their marinara was excellent. I might consider getting pasta with marinara next time. I don't normally like dishes with marinara, but this sauce was amazing. I ordered the lasagna which comes out entirely covered in a layer of cheese, very good. The cannoli was pretty good, only criticism is it needed either more chocolate chips throughout the filling or a tiny bit more sugar. Tiramisu had a heavy coffee flavor which I really enjoy. We will definitely be back! ”

“ Food here is fantastic. Good portion, fresh and tasty. Meat sauce is mixed with pork which limited the menu items for us. I chose shrimp which was excellent. My son normally loves his spaghetti and meatsauce but ordered something modified and he did not like, he is a picky eater. Service was amazing they took his meal off the bill. For anyone craving pasta this is the place and price is reasonable. ”

“ I must have driven past the Bootlegger a hundred times, always wanting to check it out. Finally I did and I couldn't have been more pleased. From the outside it looks like an ordinary suburban restaurant but inside...it's classic old Vegas. Lots of very interesting memorabilia on the walls and a nice dark, comfortable ambiance, very classy. The waitress was friendly and came with a nice bread basket appetizer. I ordered the baked penne with a house salad. It's not super expensive. All in all, I give the place a perfect mark. And I will be back... ”
